Terms of purchase

Our terms of purchase apply to all purchases made through NOVOOI's online store. By ordering from our webshop, you accept these terms and conditions.

How to order

When we receive your order, you will automatically receive an order confirmation to your e-mail address. It is the buyer's responsibility to check that the order confirmation matches the order in terms of quantity, product type, price, etc. The goods are delivered in accordance with the order confirmation. If you have any objections to the confirmation, you must contact us within seven days from the date of the confirmation. NOVOOI is not obliged to accept changes to the order after the order confirmation has been sent and the order has been placed.

Price list

All product prices include value added tax (VAT). International shipping costs are quoted and included at checkout. Buyer is responsible for any additional costs associated with international charges related to customs and VAT.

We reserve the right to change prices, printing errors, changes in text, images and links on our website. Please note that colors reproduced in the online store may differ from the actual color of the product, partly due to different color reproduction on different screens.

International shipping

International orders may be subject to VAT, import duties and other taxes upon arrival in the recipient country. We ship orders according to Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU), which means we do not collect or estimate duties and taxes in advance. For more information on specific costs, it is recommended to contact your local customs office.

During periods of high demand, such as holidays and promotions, the processing time may be slightly longer. The delivery time will also vary depending on where the order is to be shipped.

Payment options

Payment is made via the payment methods available in our online store. We use Dintero Checkout as our transaction provider. When we refund the purchase in their portal, in some cases it may take a few days before the amount is back in your account. How long it takes depends on agreements between the banks.

Delivery

NOVOOI cooperates with Profrakt and UPS for delivery of our products. If an order exceeds the size or weight limitations of these carriers, we will obtain quotes from other shipping companies that specialize in handling larger shipments.

When checking out in the online store, you will see several shipping options based on the product's weight, dimensions and your delivery address (postal code). These shipping options are automatically generated via our transportation partners, so you can easily choose the one that suits you best.

For larger furniture shipments in the Oslo area, we use local carriers who specialize in furniture delivery. Once we have received the necessary details of your order, we will obtain a quote and agree a suitable delivery time. Please note that the purchase price must be paid in full and the transportation form must be completed and signed before the furniture is sent out. We will inform you about the expected delivery time in the order confirmation. NOVOOI is not responsible for delays caused by third party suppliers.

Right of withdrawal

Unless the agreement is exempt from the right of withdrawal, the buyer can cancel the purchase in accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act, except for made-to-order products. The buyer must inform the seller that he/she wants to exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days after the withdrawal period starts. This deadline includes all calendar days. If the period expires on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, the deadline is extended to the next business day.

Complaints and returns

If you receive a defective item, please emailhei@novooi.comwith photos of the damage within 3 days of receipt.

You can return an item within 14 days, except for made-to-order products. Return costs are covered by the buyer unless otherwise agreed. Bespoke and handmade products cannot be returned or canceled after ordering. The item must be unused and in original condition for a full refund. Damaged returns are not accepted.

When returning, include the order number and the desired action (refund or exchange). Mark the package with "Returning Goods / Return" to avoid customs costs, and pack the item well. Refunds are paid to the original payment method via Dintero Checkout. Processing time varies according to the banks' process.

Complaints

If a defect is discovered in the goods, you must notify us within a reasonable time after the defect was discovered or should have been discovered. Complaints made within 2 months of discovery are always considered timely.

The complaint deadline is:

  • 2 years for goods with a shorter lifespan, such as textiles, certain interior items and smaller items.
  • 5 years for goods intended to last longer, such as furniture, lighting and other durable products.

We processing complaints in cooperation with our suppliers. If the complaint is approved, we will offer repair, replacement, price reduction or cancellation of the purchase in accordance with applicable regulations.

Notice: The warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper use or lack of maintenance.

Crediting of purchases

Once we have received the item in line with the guidelines mentioned above, we will process the refund and credit the amount to you. NOVOOI uses Dintero Checkout as our payment provider. Please note that it may take a few days for the amount to appear in your account after the refund has been completed in Dintero's system.

Changes in terms and conditions

NOVOOI reserves the right to change these terms of purchase. Changes will be published on our website, and it is the customer's responsibility to keep up to date on current conditions.
