Organic, sustainable and luxurious cotton

We love cotton - and not without reason. Cotton is soft, absorbent, breathable and easy to maintain. But unfortunately, conventional cotton production has one of the biggest environmental impacts globally. It requires huge amounts of water, and the use of pesticides and chemicals harms both people and nature.

In a confusing market, we need security. In Norway, products can be labeled as "organic" even if only a small proportion of the material is actually organic. That's why we only use GOTS-certified organic cotton in our textiles - so you can rest assured that our cotton really is sustainably produced.

What is GOTS?

GOTS - Global Organic Textile Standard - is an internationally recognized certification for organic textiles. GOTS sets strict requirements for the environment, health and working conditions throughout the production process - from cultivation and spinning to dyeing, packaging and transportation.

From Portugal to Norway

Our cotton is dyed in Portugal, printed in Spain and sewn together in Portugal. To carry the GOTS label, a textile product must contain at least 70% certified organic fibers - and in our bed textiles we use 100% organic cotton.
We also go one step further:
GOTS-approved dyes and details - strict restrictions on zippers, buttons and textile accessories.
OEKO-TEX® certified - no allergenic or carcinogenic dyes used in production.
