John Gulbrandsrød is known for his design of cutlery, everyday products such as bowls, vases and candlesticks. He is responsible for a number of pieces of jewelry and is particularly recognized for his work in silver and pewter. Despite the fact that Gulbrandsrød was in the midst of the Scandinavian Design era, he has succeeded in creating a unique Norwegian expression and character.
