In June, we gathered designers and collaborators for Novooi Collective - this time together with Natural State, Norwegian Icons and Metropolis.

Novooi Collective promoted an exhibition where Nordic elegance met warm hues in glass, ceramics and textiles, new objects met vintage, and community, design and sustainability took center stage in an inspiring and educational panel discussion. Through great conversations, an inviting lounge and a curated pop-up shop, the room was once again filled with reflection, inspiration and curiosity about the future of the industry. We celebrated the summer in classic Norwegian summer weather, with rain and sun alternating.

The community around Novooi is growing. More and more designers are becoming part of the platform, and interest from investors is growing. It was great to see so many people wanting to join the conversation when we rotated the panel with audience members. We will continue to do this!

NEW SHOWROOM

We take this opportunity to mark the start of a new chapter. Novooi is moving into Gamlebyen Loft. Together with Natural State and Norwegian Icons, we are establishing our new showroom and look forward to developing a creative community here. Gamlebyen Loft in St. Halvardsgate in Oslo is located in the middle of an area rich in craft traditions. Already in the Middle Ages, this was a center for guilds and workshops - including the Shoemakers' Guild. The street stones around the building still mark old guild houses and historic businesses.

Loftet carries on this legacy - as a gathering place for creative communities at the intersection of tradition and innovation. It suits us quite well!

We look forward to opening the doors for new collaborations and experiences - and even more meetings with you. Thank you to everyone who cheers us on. In the meantime, we wish everyone a great summer!
