Snøhetta is an interdisciplinary design and architecture studio that combines architecture, landscape design, interiors, product design, graphic and digital design. With a dialog-driven approach, they create projects that strengthen the connection between people, places and surroundings.
The name is taken from the majestic Snøhetta mountain in Norway - a symbol of openness and accessibility. The studio received its first major commission in 1989 with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Egypt, followed by iconic projects such as the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet in Oslo and the 9/11 Memorial Museum Pavilion in New York.
Today, Snøhetta is an internationally recognized player that constantly challenges the boundaries of design and architecture, with a vision to create inclusive and inspiring spaces for people around the world.
