Nina is a (bio)material designer and researcher exploring material ecology and developing new bio-based, biodegradable materials. Her latest project includes an innovative composite material made from wool waste from textile production and a renewable biomass binder from the wood industry, created to shape acoustically absorbent interior objects.

Through a systematic process of testing, failing, analyzing and further experimentation, she combines scientific laboratory protocols with creative design practice. The aim is to generate debate, where her holistic and practical approach offers both ethical and creative material solutions.

Nina is an optimistic voice for a sustainable future, rooted in interdisciplinary collaboration, materials research and a deep understanding of architecture, design and the environment.
