A playful design and characteristic stool with chubby, soft and rounded shapes. POM is designed and produced in Norway. The solid pine wood creates a heavy and stable stool; to sit on, lean your feet on, or admire. POM's sculptural expression makes the stool a unique stand-alone object.
The designers wanted to create an object that used pine in a contemporary manner. Using a common typology, they explored how far they could push the boundaries of the material itself to create something unique.

Produced in Tessungdalen, Norway
The three-legged stool is made by using only one material, 100% Norwegian pine. Pine is a long-forgotten material in modern Scandinavian design, but the longevity makes it great to use for furniture pieces. Pine is also one of the most common three types in Norway, and with the possibility of local sourcing of the wood, this is suddenly a short travelled stool with minimal environmental impact.
