The personal information we collect and why we collect it
Novooi only collects personal information from our online visitors on a voluntary basis. To complete a purchase on novooi.com we need your name, address, mobile number and e-mail. This is necessary to be able to send your order to the correct delivery address, keep up to date with the order movements and contact you if necessary.
We are required to store order information in connection with accounting, fee handling and any warranty / return handling. This history is deleted after ten years. We also store the IP address used when ordering for security reasons.
Your personal details are also stored in our customer register when you sign up for our newsletter. You will then receive information from us by email about our services and / or other relevant news. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, you can send us an email and we will delete you from the subscription. You can also unsubscribe at any time through a link found at the bottom of all our newsletters.
Your rights regarding information we have about you
You have the right to access your personal information that Novooi has registered in accordance with applicable law. You may also, at any time, ask us to delete or correct your personal information, provided that we are not obliged to store this in accordance with applicable law or other obligations we have. Information must be disclosed / transferred in a secure manner. You have the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you experience that your personal data is not processed in accordance with this declaration.
Archiving of personal information
The Accounting Act requires us to store transaction data for 5 years, but in order to safeguard customers 'rights in connection with guarantees and complaints in accordance with the Consumer Purchases Act, the Purchases Act and Novooi's terms of sale, we store purchase history for 10 years.
How this information may be used
Your information is primarily addressed in our internal system, but may also be processed by external partners such as delivery and payment partners.
Delivery partners:
We provide personal information that is necessary for our delivery partners to be able to deliver the goods to you. The information shared with the carriers is name, address, telephone number and e-mail. Pursuant to section 28 of the Personal Data Act, information that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it is stored shall be deleted.
Payment partners
All systems that process personal data related to the payment of orders are strictly limited to employees who perform necessary tasks related to the order. Card numbers are not stored beyond what is necessary to ensure efficient handling of any problems with debiting, cancellation of reservation and crediting. It is not possible for Novooi to see your entire card number in any of our systems after the purchase has been completed. Card information will be shared with our payment providers for cards and processed in accordance with to their regulations covered by the European regulations on electronic communications.
Data Analytics
We can share your non-identifiable information with relevant data and analysis engineers. This can mainly include platforms like Facebook, Google and other marketing partners. Your data remains anonymous and cannot be linked to you as an individual unless you specifically consent to this use.
