Studio Sløyd
Studio Sløyd is a young design studio based in Oslo. They work across the design landscape, from one-off conceptual pieces to more contemporary designs. Their approach to design is inspired by the educational "sløyd" taught in Scandinavian primary schools, combining tradition with a modern expression. In all of their projects, they focus on exploration, intending to respect the innate qualities of the materials they use.
Established in 2019 by Herman Ødegaard, Mikkel Jøraandstad and Tim Knutsen while studying at The Oslo School of Architecture and Design. Studio Sløyd is featured in Sight Unseen, Dezeen, Graymag, Architectural Digest
