Rasmus Stride

Rasmus Stride (b. 1990) is a digital artist and experience designer based in Oslo. Rasmus works at the intersection of the physical and digital. Rasmus works with digital tools such as 3D rendering and virtual reality to create compositions on the edge of reality and fantasy.
“I am constantly interested in exploring the expansion of reality using technology. I think this fascination stems from my encounter with the work entitled Your Atmospheric Color Atlas by Olafur Eliasson. The experience opened my eyes to the influence light and architecture have on our senses. ”
By working mainly in three-dimensional spaces, both physically and digitally, Rasmus draws references from performance art, architecture and design. "Music and performing arts are a great source of inspiration. My many years of experience as a creative director at Roskilde Festival inspires my work."
