Driven by a passion to transform imagination into form, Anna Maria Øfstedal Eng, a product designer and sculptor, merges her intuitive understanding of materials with creative vision. Her furniture and interior objects blur the line between art and function, challenging conventional boundaries and redefining the relationship between aesthetics and utility.

Mysteries, shapes and materials of the Norwegian nature fascinate and in the making process, she often lets uncontrollable formations control and beautify her work. Her objects can both be used as sculptures and functional objects, where quirky morphing aesthetics is her field of interest. Each product is unique and carefully handmade in her own workshop at Fjellhamar, Norway.

Sculptures, yet functional. Bold and quirky, yet elegant. Øfstedal Eng loves to embrace the intuitive maker hand in her design and have passion for every imperfect detail that emphasizes the transparency in her design process. Her studio is located in Fjellhamar, Norway, where she constantly develops new ideas into unique sculptural objects in both ceramic, wood, stone and metal. Her workshop is open every wednesday from 10-17 for those who are interested in shopping for unique objects directly from the workshop. Anna was awarded the "Artistic handcraft of the year" by Bo Bedre Design Award 2020.
