Thelma is a student at the furniture maker's school in Mysen and holds a bachelor's degree in social anthropology from the University of Oslo. Her work blends craftsmanship with a deep sense of heritage and sustainability.

In the spring of 2023, she undertook a redesign project that allowed her to explore the emotional and historical connections embedded in furniture. Using materials from a desk passed down through generations of her family, Thelma reimagined it into a new form, embracing the challenge of repurposing a beloved heirloom.

Her approach reflects a desire to breathe new life into old objects while maintaining a balance between tradition and modernity.
