Rita Egren
Rita mainly works with designing new functional products in porcelain. Both for own collections, but also in collaboration with external companies. Most recently in collaboration with Fitjar Island and products adapted to their shaving products for men.
Rita designs and produces her own collection mostly in porcelain. She creates products that serve a function and give pleasure to the senses. Drinking a cup of coffee should give a whole experience – give pleasure to the eyes, the sense of smell and taste, as well as to feel of the cup's shape, surface and temperature.

Each product must be experienced in its own way, adapted to the product's function and purpose. Rita likes to work with simple but clean lines and shapes in her designs. At a time when we surround ourselves with a lot of visual noise, it is important for her to create small calming points in trivial everyday products.
Rita has a degree in ceramic design from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, and is a member of Norwegian Artisans. She has exhibited at Vestfold Art Center, Haugar Vestfold Art Museum, Sandefjord Art Association, and Kunstforeningen Verdens Ende. She is also permanently represented at, among others, Buskerud Kunstsenter, Galleri Osebro, Galleri Villvin, Hå Gamle Prestegård and Galleri Giga.
