Filiokus Media
Filiokus Media is a small company run by Marte Næss and Ole Andre Sivertsen. Filiokus was created in 2005 after a trip to New York where Marte discovered two fantastic pop-up books at the Museum of Modern Art: The Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland. Marte eventually became aware that both of these books were best sellers in the United States that year, and could be found in the windows of every bookstore. The idea that something like this might also be able to sell in Norway was sown. After Marte returned home to Norway, she contacted the American publisher and got a publication contract for the Norwegian market. Shortly afterwards, Filiokus Forlag was a reality.
Since then the business has expanded to cover concept development and production for several media platforms such as online, TV and stage. Marte is the general manager of Filiokus. She is mostly involved in the development and production of new book concepts, with the main emphasis on books that take care of memories.
Ole works with TV, both as a concept developer, producer and presenter. In addition, he is a sought-after speaker and copywriter. Many of their books are illustrated by Darling Clementine.
