The S-CHAIR blends Bauhaus forms and Scandinavian precision with the boundary pushing spirit of modern experimental music, inspiring a fluid, sculptural stainless steel frame.
The frame is paired with a soft, embracing textile sleeve: a detachable ‘puffer jacket’ fixed with three heavy-duty metal zips. With this enveloping form the designers sought to evoke the childhood memory of being held, inspiring the name of the studio ‘FANG’ (lap).
Handmade in Norway, the S-CHAIR is both a functional object and a bold centrepiece, with 54 interchangeable jacket colors giving you the opportunity to reimagine it for every mood and setting.
