Studio ESH
Studio ESH is founded by woodwork carpenter and product designer Erik Singstad Hagen. He produces functional and sustainable products from local and renewable materials that can last for generations. Erik himself design and produce what he make.
With a focus on form and function, the products are characterised by a simple and minimalistic design combined with solid and environmentally friendly materials. With oak materials from southern Norway, ash from Østfold and 150-year-old bricks from the river Glommas outlet, the green focus is well taken care of. The products are characterised by traditional craftsmanship, made to last.
As a furniture and woodwork carpenter and product designer, Erik believes that it is significant that the woods properties are in focus when deciding it’s possible function. The renewable materials we have around us can become everyday objects and interior items.
Erik has a vocational education in the furniture and wood products subject and a bachelor’s degree in product design from OsloMET.
