The «Relieff» carpet is made of soft wool, with a sculptural look. The carpet has a captivating pattern, with hand-tufted designs in different directions, shapes, and heights. The intricate design is further refined by hand sculpting with scissors, creating a relief-like texture. Each detail of the «Blokk» carpet blends softness with tactile appeal.
Designer and sculptor, Kaja Dahl, has created rugs for Volver Studios inspired by stones. The designs are based on the techniques of rug tufting, with the use of only natural hues of un-coloured wool. The irregular colouring of the yarn and directions of tufting, adds sculptural layers of patterns with three dimensional effects.
