The design Wild Meadow / Villeng Carpet is inspired by lush, wild,
colourful meadows and the gentle sway of flowers and grasses,
creating coloured fields and shapes. 100% wool, hand tufted in
India. The rug is approx 2-3 cm high.
This is a design collaboration between Plesner Patterns and InHouse.
The designs are about celebrating the organic, the imperfect, and the
authentic – the shapes, colours, and textures we find in nature and in
everyday life. This collection is inspired by childhood memories of
exploring outdoors: the feel of moss beneath your feet, flowers and
grasses swaying in the wind, and the simple joy of being fully present in
nature.
Through patterns signed Plesner Patterns and exclusive, hand-tufted rug
qualities, Norwegian design unites with traditional craftsmanship.
Hopefully these rugs can bring a little piece of nature into your home – in
a way that is beautiful, meaningful, and lasting.
Each wool rug is hand-tufted in India. For rugs of this type, it is normal to experience some fibre shedding in the beginning. This is due to excess fibres from the production process that gradually work their way up through the pile, and it will typically decrease with use and regular vacuuming.
We recommend vacuuming regularly without a rotating brush. Any longer fibres that appear can be carefully trimmed with scissors—avoid pulling them out. Shedding may vary, but in some cases it can continue for several months before gradually reducing.
