Architect Pål Lunder founded Fjordfiesta in 2004 with a desire to develop and reconnect with the Scandinavian design heritage. The Norwegian design brand is passionate about collaborating with emerging designers and prides itself on renewing classic treasures from the Norwegian design heritage.

Fjordfiesta is dedicated to meeting today's ethical and environmental challenges and is actively involved in all parts of the value chain - from design and production to delivery. The furniture is produced at Fjordfiesta's factory in Dokka, Norway, where high quality craftsmanship and advanced technology ensure products that last a lifetime and beyond.

As one of the few Norwegian furniture manufacturers, Fjordfiesta still has the courage and perseverance to maintain furniture production in Norway through its factory in Dokka. The combination of top-class craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology is central to their business. Fjordfiesta contributes to several sustainability goals to create a better future for our planet.

Fjordfiesta's furniture takes shape in the borderland between high-tech industrial production and precise craftsmanship. Under the expert guidance of foreman Jonny, sketches are transformed into unique pieces of furniture with the love and passion of our skilled craftsmen. The factory, located in a deep valley on the banks of the Dokka river, has been producing quality furniture for over 65 years.

As the only Norwegian manufacturer of classic furniture, we are dedicated to discovering and promoting hidden treasures from our design heritage. Thanks to our own production location in Norway, we ensure that innovation, high quality standards and environmentally friendly production remain core values of the company. Fjordfiesta believes that timeless design is a solid contribution to the environment, further reinforced by the light environmental footprint they leave behind with each carefully assembled piece of furniture. To ensure the quality of its products and the working conditions for its employees, Fjordfiesta manufactures its furniture with local employees, family and friends. The materials used are carefully selected with regard to environmental impact. Fjordfiesta's long-term goal is to lead the way towards becoming fully circular and sustainable.
